Why cell phone strap?

Do you know that the phone strap is a part of Japanese culture? I think I haven't tell you the story WHY :) Ooops, may be you know but (lol) let me explain! Long time ago, in Edo era, everyone brought their principal seal (it usually looks like a stamp thing that is used at postal office...) with them and since it was sooooo important, they can't loose it. Then people started to put the string (which is known as "Nestuke strap") so that they can carry easily, won't loose them easily. After a while, people wanted to have something special, that can ideantify their own principal seal. So some attached a chrm with the string and it got very popular among many people. The time past and today, the important thing to many people has changed a principal seal to a cell phone. So, that's why many beautiful phone strap borned. In fact, i hadn't known about the cell phone strap history before i started to work @ strapya (lol!) It means that attaching phone strap is very, very common ththing to Japanese. Okay okay, I'm happy if you thought "Ah-ha!" reading my post :) I'll upload images later!!

China town, Yokohama

How's your weekend?? I had a lot of fun! I went to China town (Yokohama) and Yokohama port. We saw beautiful sights (but didn't take pics....lol) and then we went to China town. Eating yummy foods and fun talk are essential things to me :) The picture is China Town! We went there at night so it was dark and bit scary. And today we StrapYa introduce something useful! Boiled egg...but not an usual one it's unusual!

My friend brought this boiled egg, named magic pearl. It is sold as a boiled egg already and you'll be like "Ah, OK, it's just an egg." BUT!! Once you eat it and will be surprized because the egg is already flavored with salt and the other seasoning! I wonder how to make this boiled eggs...because, you know, how can you season the egg inside the eggshell? without breaking it??? Ahhhanyway this is tasty and I just lov it :) Sooo Do you guys know any amazing/unusual food in your countries??

My friend told me the name of the "amazing" flower that I was talking about on last post. It is Dahlia! I have to get some (too late to buy??) for my lil garden.... I think I'm not good at bringing up flowers (especially the ones need to be taken care of a lot..like roses) the one I successfully brought up was peppers (lol) Oh, you know what, they are heros at Yuuki's dishes. My mom loves it too. I decide to buy peppers next year again =D Have I showed you these pics? After an exciting bowling game, we StrapYa went to have a dinner. You can see tomo-san (left)! Have you ever had "Kaki"(Japanese persimmon)?? It's one of my favorites!! Sweet and delicious...can't compare with anything else!! (>____<) Yeah, and probably, it's only me that drinking such a thing but I lov it when it's getting cooler. I put Umeboshi(pickled Japanese plum...very sour (than lemon!) and salty) and pepper together and pour boiling water. crash them all together and here's my favorite "Hot" drink (lol!!)

we had a big typhoon yesterday! I was so excited because I love thunder but...yes, it was passed peacefully :P I hate earthquake though!! Well, I was craaaaaaaaaaaaaving KFC yesterday.... Actually I had been wanted to eat for about a week :) My dream came true finally!! I went out with Nori-chan, one of my friends @ StrapYa. She loves Kimono so someday I want to go shopping to buy cute Kimono with her. Here's something new in my life!! I started to work out in the gym from todaaaay. I really love to swim, that's why I wanted to do that. I took up a lesson on aroma-yoga. It wasn't mental concentration thing, just learn how to relax. I learned, I'll be more relaxed when I do something active... But I really felt good! After the lesson, it feels like as if I went to hot spring, take a bath and relaxed. Sooo it was all good! It was really goooooooood weather today and I went to "Fuji kyu high land" which is very popular amusement park in Japan :) I just loooooooooove roller coaster!! It was cold today!! It's already May and should be warmer.... I love summer so I can't wait August :) Oh, I went to the ocean and took some pictures. Helloo heloooo :)How's everything?? I had headache and stomachache all day long(*sigh*) I hate it when I have to really focus on something!! No one like it though:P K, I have to tell you about my trip to Chiba(it's a one of the "state" of Japan and a little country side....I guess lol) Friend of mine is a wood cutter, well, very unique isn't he? Anyway, we (ooops, not only just two of us but bunch of friends) went to the river and had a lot of fun!! Guess what. I scooped up two fish with a net!!! Ohhhhh that was my first experience to do that!! Oh, and we saw a big frog....that was a one of protected species!!BUT I don't like froggy so...you know, I screamed like a little child :P Oh even though I met Mr.froggy I had a lot of fun. See the picture?? This is my garden. I love flowers and gardening stuff, so I bought bunch of flowers that I love. Oh, i have to tell you that there is new pretty strap. This I love U!! Couple Pair Ring Strap is familiar to you. Well it is not common to have these kind of stuff in Japan, soooo it draw my attention. Isn't it cool to have pair ring "strap"?? Look at my sweet cats!!!Wooooow they are sooooo adorable and sooooo fluffy!! The lest side one is a boy, named "Joy" and the other one is a girl, "Becky". Oh and I have another one so it means I have three cats :) Whenever I'm tired, you know, they don't do anything special or try to cheer up me, but their existence definitely give me a comfort.
